Comments: Hi Darren,

I`m nearly new to the internet and found this a very well done site, makes me want to be there, so sunny & cheerful.

My husbands g.g.grandparents are burried in the Howff, although I did not find them on your site, but did in a listing by the friends of the howff cemetery.

they were Andrew Dargie D 1831, wife Mary Saunders d 1849& daughter Helen d 1835, and 2 infant daughters, so I am thrilled.

I don`t know if there is a headstone on the grave, if there is maybe one day I will find it on your site.

Helen was born at Hagmuir Farm, I was in Scotland in 1985 for a week and managed to find Hagmuir Farm I was so excited.

just a bit of trivia I had the best Spaghetti I have ever tasted at a little cafe in dundee.

Keep up the great work.

Regards Brenda

I spent an hour just skimming, didn't find any ancestors, but enjoyed myself. I've been doing research in different areas of Scotland and it stikes me based on the wealth of resources available on the net that Dundonians seem to take a far greater pride and interest in their history than just about any other area of Scotland. Great site, and thanks for putting the hard work in. It really is appreciated by those of us ancestor hunting from the other side of the world.

There was a large group of Scottish immigrants who came to St. Lawrence Co., NY in the early 1800's and I recognized some of the surnames found in this cemetery. Interestingly, you list a Pitcairn, there is a Pitcairn town in St. Lawrence Co., NY. Enjoyable visit with you.
